PAULA TRUFANT, RN

With heavy hearts we regret to tell you that we have lost a member of our OB-GYN Family.

Paula passed away unexpectedly.  She was a dedicated, compassionate nurse who always put her
patients first. 
Paula will be sadly missed by all.

Our office will be closed on Wednesday, May 5th, to allow our staff to attend her funeral.

 

 

 

 
Our Registered Nurse Practitioners 

A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse with advanced education and training.  Registered nurse practitioners share a common goal to help people of all ages stay as healthy as possible.  They teach people ways to stay healthy & treat them for their acute illnesses (infections) as well as chronic diseases (diabetes). 

How does a Nurse Practitioner care for patients?

  • Obtain health histories
  • Perform physical examinations
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
  • Diagnose health problems
  • Develop a treatment plan
  • Order therapy
  • Make referrals
  • Provide counseling and teaching
  • Prescribe medications
